“This TriBeCa - based boutique houses both established and up - and - coming indie bridal designers in a homey and creative atmosphere filled with handcrafted details that emulate the latest wedding trends. The shop received a glamorous makeover courtesy of Stew art - Schafer design firm (they're redesigning all 12 locations) a few years ago, and is even more focused on a magical experience for the bride. Blush (more like millennial pink) sofas, Icelandic sheepskin hides, and a wall covering by Calico add to the modern feel that makes wedding dress shopping at Lovely feel far less stressful and more like an afternoon of dress - up with good girlfriends.”
Stewart - Schafer was tasked with redesigning all twelve locations of Lovely Bride, including the brand's NYC flagship store. In addition to the thoughtful design, Stewart - Schafer considered how they could ultimately redefine the customer's shopping experience from beginning to end. While designing the space, Stewart - Schafer though t about how guests flow from one room to another, optimal music selections, enhanced lighting, and how the dresses appear on the hangers, in order to create the most magical experience a bride could have. The glamorous space features a whimsical wall cover ing by Calico, custom blush Mohair sofas, Icelandic sheepskin hides, cowhide rugs by Calypso Home, and elegant custom brass fixtures for an eclectic, modern feel with minimalist Scandinavian undertones. Stewart - Schafer custom designed many of the store's furnishings including chandeliers, four styles of mirrors, garment racks, room dividers, dressing room banquettes, side tables, and display tables. The firm also designed a complete pack where local designers in each store across the country could easily implement the design to achieve the same look and feel of the NYC flagship store.
